The Erie Zoo & Botanical Gardens encompass a comprehensive zoo with animal exhibits including African black-footed penguins, white rhinoceroses, Amur tigers, sacred Ibis, black and white ruffled lemurs, reticulated giraffes, and many others!

Located in downtown Erie’s historic cultural district, ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum offers a safe space for groups of early childhood age to create, explore, and imagine at their indoor and outdoor exhibits.

Field trips to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia (also known as the Philadelphia Fed and Philly Fed), home to the first Bank of the United States, allow groups to step into the world of America’s financial system.

Visit the First National Bank Museum, one of the oldest historic sites in Lancaster County. The bank is located in two rooms of an 1814 Federal-style townhouse that was built for Columbia’s founding father John Wright, Sr.’s grandson.

The battle at Fort Necessity National Battlefield was the opening action of the French and Indian War. The Fort offers themes: George Washington and the French and Indian War, Mount Washington Tavern and the National Rd.

Fort Roberdeau features a reconstructed Revolutionary War stockade surrounding six log cabins, as well as an 1858 barn containing exhibits, an education center with hands-on programs, three nature trails, and picnic facilities.

Fox Chase Farm is an educational farm open to the public. Groups can learn about the challenge of caring for farm animals, as well as take part in seasonal maple sugaring activities.

The Franklin Institute is a science museum and the center of science education and research is dedication to public education and creating a passion for science in ways that would dazzle and delight visitors.

The 5.5-acre Frick Art & Historical Center, also known as The Frick Pittsburgh, features fine and decorative arts, vintage cars, carriages, and a greenhouse.

Gateway to Frick Park and LEED Platinum-certified, the Frick Environmental Center provides hands-on, experiential environmental education.

See the Gettysburg Battlefield in miniature form! The Gettysburg Diorama allows groups to view the whole 6,000-acre battlefield, putting the Civil War’s Battle of Gettysburg into perspective for visitors.

The Gettysburg Museum of History gives visitors access to over 4,000 artifacts from World Wars I and II, the American Civil War, and various American Presidencies.
