Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse which became operational in 1874 and is still an active navigational aid for the United States Coast Guard. Visitors can tour the lighthouse and learn about its history and explore the seashore area.

New Jersey State House Tours

The Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University administers the State House Express, which can help offset transportation costs for classes visiting the New Jersey State House. Awards are up to $750, based on need.

Woodruff Museum of Indian Artifacts

Located in the Bridgeton Free Public Library, the Woodruff Museum of Indian Artifacts displays some 30,00 pieces of Native American relics. Artifacts, from the Lenni Lenape Tribe, include arrowheads, cooking utensils and more.
