Civil War Museum focuses on the Civil War from the perspective of the people of the seven states of the upper middle west: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin through the use of personal stories and narratives.

Established in 2005, the Concord Zoo has provided a sanctuary for animals from all different walks of life. Concord Zoo provides opportunities to reconnect with nature and animals. Animals include goats, sheep, miniature horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, poultry, alpacas and more.

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum is dedicated to the exploration and explication of the relationship between modern birds and ancient carnivorous biped dinosaurs, the theropods, which include Carnotaurus, Tyrannosaurus rex, and Archaeopteryx.

Kenosha History Center collects and preserves Kenosha County’s history from the 1850s to the late 20th century. The Southport Light Station Museum consists of the 1866 Southport lighthouse and the 1867 Lighthouse Keeper’s residence is part of the fourth gallery space of the Kenosha History

The Kenosha Public Museum is a natural sciences and fine and decorative arts museum. Exhibitions feature mammoths, world cultures, Native Americans, zoology, geology, fossils, and fine and decorative arts. Visitors explore the fascinating intersections of art and science.

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is to increase the public’s understanding of military history, military affairs, and national security thru stories of those who served, helping citizens to appreciate the relationship between the armed forces and the civilians whose freedoms they protect.
