Grants for field trips

About Grants

We know funds for class trips are limited for schools as well as funds for field trips for scout groups, homeschool groups and camp groups, so we’ve included grants for field trips that cover admission, transportation, and more. We hope this helps you in planning and implementing educational, enriching and fun day and overnight trips for your youth groups.

Grants for field trips can be regional, national and or by grade level. They tend to focus on various learning experiences and curriculum areas. The grants might not state for field trips but they will state the curriculum area that can be reinforced by a field trip like to a planetarium for space travel, a farm for sustainability, a science museum for an exhibit on minerals, a nature center for environmental education, a theater for vocabulary development , a service learning experience for a civic project, a multicultural museum for an understanding of diversity, a living history farm for American History, a history museum with a Civil War exhibit, a botanical garden for conservation, etc. Be creative!
