The DAI is a community arts center that works closely with artists and the community, creating associated symposia, workshops, and studios.

The Goldstein Museum of Design is a museum on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. It is part of the university’s College of Design. GMD was founded in 1976 and is the only museum in the Upper Midwest specializing in designed objects.

The Great Lakes Aquarium features 1,500 animals and habitats found within the Great Lakes basin and other worldwide ecosystems such as the Amazon River or Pacific reefs.

The Lake Superior Railroad Museum is a museum that focuses on railroading in the Lake Superior region and in the summer and fall months the museum’s North Shore Scenic Railroad offers train excursions.

The Lake Superior Zoo educational programs designed to connect people with over 300 critters and 140 species. Make your zoo experience on to remember with a special behind-the-scenes tour or animal encounter!

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium offers live, interactive shows and full-dome theater presentations. From traditional star displays and cultural shows that show the importance of astronomy around the world.
