A former hotel and tavern, Palmyra Historical Museum features 23 themed rooms that reveal the history as a stop on the Underground Railroad for freedom seekers.

At the Nannen Arboretum groups can explore the arboretum’s many gardens, memorials, and sanctuaries. The Arboretum is dedicated to providing an opportunity for nature appreciation and leisure.

The National Museum of the American Indian cares for one of the world’s largest collections of Native American artifacts; exhibits are focused on the history and culture of American Indians, from ancient times to the 19th century.

The Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College features a collection of 20th century and contemporary works. Single and multi-visit tours can teach groups about the museum’s collections.

At the New Windsor Cantonment State Historic Site from mid-April through October visitors will find costumed staff demonstrating musket drills, blacksmithing, military medicine and other 18th century skills.
