At the Nannen Arboretum groups can explore the arboretum’s many gardens, memorials, and sanctuaries. The Arboretum is dedicated to providing an opportunity for nature appreciation and leisure.

At the Nassau County Firefighters Museum & Education Center, youth groups can explore firefighting, including its history and gear.

Located in the Georgian-style former Frick Estate, the Nassau County Museum is home to a permanent 19th and 20th century American and European art, as well as a variety of rotating collections, sculptures, and gardens.

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem strives to preserve and promote jazz by inspiring and celebrating the genre in the community and beyond.

Located in what used to be the Washington Bathhouse, the National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame features a large collection of photos, videos, costumes, and artifacts that document the history of dance.

The National Museum of the American Indian cares for one of the world’s largest collections of Native American artifacts; exhibits are focused on the history and culture of American Indians, from ancient times to the 19th century.
