Carbon County Environmental Education Center is located on 70 acres of woodland, wetland and meadow habitat. The center features a system of boardwalk trails as well as two indoor classrooms replete with elegant nature displays.

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) offers many opportunities for groups to get outside and learn about the wonders of the Chesapeake Bay region. Groups can participate in the Susquehanna Watershed Education Program.

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, influenced by Pittsburgh native Mr. Rogers, offers groups a plethora of amazingly creative and fun life-sized exhibits and hands-on experiences.

At City Theatre Company experience new plays that will challenge and engage your group at this hip Pittsburgh performance space. Student matinee performances allow groups to explore the theater world through adventurous new works in a comfortable, professional setting.

Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation at Ridley Creek State Park is an 18th-century farm so authentic your students, scouts, homeschoolers, and campers will feel as if they’ve traveled back in time.

Located inside the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Curiosity Connection offers imaginative young students and homeschoolers a fun, safe place where they can learn about themselves and their world through play.

Tour Central Pennsylvania’s Curtin Village at Eagle Ironworks, founded by 19th-century iron manufacturer and politician Roland Curtin.

Visit Daniel Boone Homestead, birthplace of American pioneer and frontiersman Daniel Boone. This 579-acre historic site, allows groups to explore the story of Daniel Boone’s youth in Pennsylvania’s Oley Valley.
