New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium offers educational programs that teach key marine and coastal scientific concepts using outdoor activities and hands-on fieldwork. Groups can learn about Sandy Hook Bay, the beach & natural resources. 

Tours of New Jersey’s State House explore the building’s history, art, and architecture while also educating visitors on the legislative process.

The Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University administers the State House Express, which can help offset transportation costs for classes visiting the New Jersey State House. Awards are up to $750, based on need.

The New Jersey State Police Museum & Learning Center includes stories about Prohibition in the 1920s, the life of a police trainee and more.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performs at theater and performing arts centers throughout the state. Each year, the Orchestra brings musical magic to youth groups throughout the state through its regular performances, in-school ensemble programs, and outreach.

The Newark Museum is the state’s largest museum with a fine collections of American art, decorative arts, contemporary art, and arts of Asia, Africa, the Americas, and the ancient world.

NJ Astronomical Association has one of the most spectacular scale models in the US. Its solar system walk is an exceptional learning experience for all.

The Noyes Museum exhibits have included work by local artists, student exhibits, and items from the Museum’s permanent collection: including sculpture, decorative arts, paintings, prints, and photography.

Ocean County Soil Conservation District offers environmental science programs for groups of all ages. Youth groups will have several opportunities to get hands-on with nature while learning about conservation through the district’s programs.
