Embark on an all-day maritime adventure! Located on 40 acres, the Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum is a historical, interactive recreation of life on the Jersey Shore 100 years ago.

At Tulpehaking Nature Center, explore the Abbot Marshlands with the center’s guided walks and educational programs for groups. Groups can explore their surroundings during hikes of Mercer Meadows, Baldpate Mountain, and other areas.

Turtle Back Zoo is committed to providing an enriching experience that fosters excellence in wildlife education and wildlife conservation.

The Updike Farmstead, a former working farm, is now a museum including the original farmhouse, wagon shed, corn crib, garage and garden sheds.

As the state’s largest contemporary art institution, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey hosts work by local and national artists. Past exhibits have featured illustration, collage, mixed media, painting, installation art, and other media.

Walt Whitman’s home, a National Historic Landmark, where visitors can get a glimpse of the poet’s original letters & personal belongings. Lesson plans available to use in conjunction with a field trip.

Washington Crossing State Park is a 3,575-acre state park which includes the site of George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware at Johnsons Ferry on December 25, 1776.

What’s Out There brings the Starlab Portable Planetarium to your location or virtually. View the nighttime sky and observe the stars, planets, the moon & other celestial objects. We adjust the program to your interest. In-person areas served: CT, NJ, NY, PA.

Located in the Bridgeton Free Public Library, the Woodruff Museum of Indian Artifacts displays some 30,00 pieces of Native American relics. Artifacts, from the Lenni Lenape Tribe, include arrowheads, cooking utensils and more. 

The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is home to a permanent collection of photographs and artifacts that document the life of the iconic Hall of Fame catcher and anchor of the NY Yankees in the 1940’s and 50’s.

The Zimmerli Art Museum has a collection of 60,000 objects ranging from ancient to contemporary art, French art of the nineteenth century, Russian and Soviet Nonconformist Art, and American and European works on paper.
