Bring your sports-loving school group to the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center! Standards-aligned, interactive education programs explore a range of academic topics through the lens of sports. Students experience character education based on the friendship between Yogi Berra and Jackie Robinson, learn about iambic pentameter through “Yogi-isms,” and investigate the physics of baseball using radar technology. All visits include a guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibits. Free bus parking is available in the Montclair State University student parking lot. Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center

Overlooking Yogi Berra Stadium on the campus of Montclair State University, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is home to a permanent collection of photographs and artifacts that document the life of the iconic Hall of Fame catcher and anchor of the NY Yankees in the 1940’s and 50’s. Hands-on, interactive exhibitions, including a digital pitching experience, engage visitors of all ages. In addition to year-round education programs for schools and youth development organizations, the Museum hosts public programs that feature prominent figures from the world of sports.
