Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse which became operational in 1874 and is still an active navigational aid for the United States Coast Guard. Visitors can tour the lighthouse and learn about its history and explore the seashore area.

Historic Longstreet Farm

Historic Longstreet Farm shows life in rural Monmouth County in the 1890s, including costumed interpreters who present activities of the period. Interpreters show both daily and seasonal agricultural and domestic activities.

Historic Speedwell

Jockey Hollow

Jockey Hollow is the site of the Continental Army’s winter encampment of 1779-80. The land served Washington’s men as they chopped down over 600 acres of trees for heat and shelter.
