Tour Central Pennsylvania’s Curtin Village at Eagle Ironworks, founded by 19th-century iron manufacturer and politician Roland Curtin.

Visit Daniel Boone Homestead, birthplace of American pioneer and frontiersman Daniel Boone. This 579-acre historic site, allows groups to explore the story of Daniel Boone’s youth in Pennsylvania’s Oley Valley.

House turned museum, the David Wills House was home to David Wills, a Gettysburg attorney. It was where President Lincoln finished writing his Gettysburg Address during the clean-up process after the Battle of Gettysburg.

Deaver Wellness Farm offer a variety programs where students learn to connect with the source of healthy food, gain understanding of the science behind agriculture, and leave with an appreciation for the value of healthy eating.

Now at a new, larger location, Discovery Space is a great place for groups to play and learn. The museum encourages curiosity, creativity, imagination, and STEM learning in groups of early childhood age.

At Eckley Miners’ Village, groups will have the chance to experience life at a 19th-century Northeastern Pennsylvania coal patch town created when coal was an essential industrial fuel.

At the Edgar Allan Poe Historic Site learn about Poe’s literary interests and styles, experience his writing through narration or music, see rare books, and participate in hands-on programs.

At the Eisenhower National Historic Site, groups will have the chance to tour the place where 34th President of the US, Dwight Eisenhower and his wife, Mamie, lived before and after his presidency.

The Ephrata Cloister was constructed in the early 18th century and served as a religious community under its leader Conrad Beissel. Groups may watch a short film and see exhibits in the Visitor Center and have a guided tour of two of the buildings.

The Erie Art Museum’s collection of over 8,000 objects, with a particular focus on American ceramics, Indian bronzes, baskets, and other sculptural art, is a great choice for a unique art-immersion experience.

The Erie County Historical Society is an organization dedicated to the preservation, interpretation and presentation of the rich history of Erie and adjacent regions including Lake Erie and its maritime traditions.

See one-of-a-kind performances at the Erie Playhouse. The Playhouse offers school-time performances from October through May. Your group can enjoy clever re-tellings of beloved classics or laugh out loud at the rollicking adaptations of children’s books
