The Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College features a collection of 20th century and contemporary works. Single and multi-visit tours can teach groups about the museum’s collections.

At the New Windsor Cantonment State Historic Site from mid-April through October visitors will find costumed staff demonstrating musket drills, blacksmithing, military medicine and other 18th century skills.

Olana State Historic Site is the Victorian home of the late American landscape painter Frederic Church. Groups can tour the house, the landscape, the Coachmen’s House Gallery and the Evelyn and Maurice Sharp Gallery.

Old Ford Farm is a small diversified family farm that strives to produce quality foods, build community, and use farming methods that promote the long-term health of our land, animals, and larger environment. Offers 2-hour educational farm tour for all ages.

Orange County Arboretum is a 35-acre facility that’s a natural site for the organized display of trees, shrubs and plants.There are magnificent raised gardens and cascading water features.

In the spring and summer months, groups can stop by and visit the petting zoo at Overlook Farm Market to see rabbits, chickens, and goats.

Pennings Orchard produces over 15 varieties of apples to pick throughout the season. School and youth groups can enjoy a variety of fun farm activities, scenic views, fall foliage, the petting farm, hay maze, and more on field trips to the orchard.

Family owned and operated Rainbow’s End Butterfly Farm hand raises butterflies and includes a flight house that displays eco-friendly environments. See local butterflies and the plants they visit.

Guests of the Roundout Lighthouse take a boat to the location and tour the inside, observation deck, and navigational light.

Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz has a diverse collection that includes 20th century prints and paintings, Asian art, Pre-Columbian art and artifacts, decorative arts and photographs.

At the Saugerties Lighthouse, guests experience the lighthouse’s history, a museum that was once a bedroom, and the tower view.

At Senate House State Historic Site, visitors learn about colonial life and Kingston’s role in early US history. Guests explore NY State history and learn about life in the 1700s.
