The Johnson Victrola Museum displays phonographs, recordings, trademarks, memorabilia, and other objects highlight the development of Johnson’s business and the history of the sound-recording industry.

Visit the Copeland Maritime Center at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard to experience exhibits including Watercraft of the World with 73 model ships, Riverfront Room chronicling Wilmington’s train and ship-building history, Science of Sailing and more.

Killens Pond State Park is a Delaware. The park surrounds a 66-acre pond known as Killens Pond located along the Murderkill River. Amenities available include boating, fishing, hiking, playgrounds, and picnic areas.

Lightship Overfalls is one of the only remaining lightships. Built in 1938, the Overfalls was the last lightship built with a riveted construction and has a radio beacon, foghorn, and 1,000-watt electric lantern.

Lums Pond State Park was the site of several Native American hunting camps when St. Georges Creek flowed through the hardwood forest. The creek was dammed in the early 1800’s when the C & D canal was built.

At the Marshall Steam Museum learn about the beginnings of the automotive age with a collection of historic automobiles and trains to compare modern life with the early 1900s and witness the transformation of technology.

The Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage honors two persons who dedicated their professional lives to ensuring equal rights and opportunities for African Americans and other disenfranchised Delawareans.

At the Mount Cuba Astronomical Observatory at the all-digital planetarium explore stars, planets, and constellations. Special tours and presentations are hosted by technical and educational associates and are available upon request for groups.

Mr. Pepper’s Pumpkin Patch has over a dozen varieties of pumpkins in various colors, sizes, shapes, and textures. You pick your own off the vine from right where it grew!

Mt. Cuba Center on 550 acres in Delaware’s Appalachian Piedmont with natural rolling hills, stream valleys, rock outcrops, deciduous forests, and the notable flora and fauna of the region. Guided group tours cover seasonal highlights and ecological gardening.

The Nanticoke Indian Museum displays many artifacts that have been passed down from Elders and includes thousands of arrowheads, pottery, axe hammers and other objects.

Nemours Estate, an 18th-century-French-style chateau, contains 77 rooms on 222 acres of land, with European and American furniture, rare mugs and artwork, books, as well as several reproductions of older paintings.
