Northern Stage offers educational programs that engage theater lovers of all ages through youth training and in-school programs, events, internships, and adult learning opportunities.

The NorthWoods Stewardship Center is an educational, research, and conservation organization that serves the communities of northern Vermont and New Hampshire with educational and recreational activities.

The Old Constitution House State Historic Site is where the first constitution of Vermont was adopted in 1777. The house was then called the Windsor Tavern.

The Old Stone House Museum is housed in a massive four-story granite building completed in 1836 by Alexander Twilight, the first African American to graduate from college and to serve in a state legislature.  

The Park-McCullough House is a 35-room mansion built by skilled artisans and is a prime example of Second Empire design. It represents a specific period of architectural history in the United States.

Nestled in the Green Mountains of central Vermont, the Pond Hill Ranch offers a little slice of the Wild West. The ranch hosts activities from horseback riding to rodeo shows.

The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site has remained nearly unchanged. The homes of Calvin Coolidge’s family and neighbors, the community church, cheese factory, one room schoolhouse, and general store have been carefully preserved. 

The Rokeby Museum is a National Historic Landmark, designated for its exceptional Underground Railroad history. Rokeby is one of the best-documented Underground Railroad sites in the county.

Explore the history and heritage of St. Albans, Franklin County, and northwestern Vermont at Saint Albans Museum. Exhibits interpret the Central Vermont Railway, military tradition, history and heritage of agriculture, women’s history, and more.

Shelburne Farms is a 1,400-acre working farm, forest, and National Historic Landmark that cares about sustainability. The Farm collaborates with educators and offers learning experiences on its sustainable, historic property.

There is a reason why Shelburne Museum welcomes thousands of school children each year—it is an incredibly rich resource for learning about American history, industry, culture, and art.

The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum includes exhibits on mineralogy, geology, live birds of prey, amphibians, reptiles, native fish, local history, watersheds, and ecology. The fun and adventure continues outside with nearby access to over 600 protected acres of hiking trails.
