In addition to traditional residential and day programs, Hulbert Outdoor Center offers on-site and school based service-learning and leadership programs. These intensive, curriculum-based programs focus on effective group work and personal development.

Isham Family Farm has been producing maple syrup for five generations. They use a state-of-the-art reverse-osmosis system that is powered entirely from renewable energy.

The DAR John Strong Mansion Museum is the 200 year old home of a Revolutionary War patriot and his family. See period room displays and hear the story of a colonial family’s life in the northern wilderness.

The Justin Morrill Homestead, designed and built by Justin Morrill before starting his political career. He entered politics in 1854 and served in both the United States House of Representatives and Senate for nearly 44 years.

The Keewaydin Environmental Education Center offers hands-on, experiential learning in a variety of natural habitats. Drawing from the natural world, programs incorporate history, science, math, language arts, geology, and physical education.

The Kent Thomas Nature Center at Mad River Glen may be the smallest museum in Vermont. The Nature Center houses displays the flora, fauna, geology, and other natural wonders of the General Stark Mountain.

Leddy Park Arena is a full service arena with a full size Olympic ice surface, studio rink, and amenities including a pro shop and snack bar. The Arena is the home ice for Burlington’s youth hockey organization.

At the Lyman Spitzer Jr. Planetarium at the Fairbanks Museum tour the stars, planets, and constellations that are currently visible in the night sky, view photographs in the Vinton Space Science Gallery, and more.

The collection at the Madsonian Museum of Industrial Design represents a lifetime of appreciation for and devotion to good design, displaying the best designed and most artistic manufactured objects from cars to toasters, toys to canoes.

Merck Forest and Farmland Center teaches sustainable management of forest and farmland. The site is comprised of 3,100 acres of forest, an organic sugaring operation, and a 62-acre farm.

Middlebury College Museum of Art has a collection of several thousand objects ranging from antiquity to contemporary art, including distinguished Asian art, photography, 19th-century European and American sculpture, and contemporary prints.

The Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge consists of 6,729 acres of mostly wetland habitats that support a variety of migratory birds and other wildlife. The Refuge offers wildlife viewing, photography, environmental education and interpretation.
