Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian is a heritage museum with exhibits on Native American culture & art, plus traditional dance performances.

This 1,500-foot boardwalk crosses four acres of marshland, where bird watchers can spot many coastal and migratory birds and numerous others tempted by the berries on the fiddlewood bushes along the trail.

The Lake Jackson Historical Museum highlight major eras and influential figures of Lake Jackson history. From the Indigenous Karankawa people who lived on this land for thousands of years to the Dow Chemical Company workers who made Lake Jackson home during World War II.

At  Love Creek Orchards, guides will share information about planting, pruning and harvesting, as well as innovative methods of dealing with apple thieves and pests such as deer, raccoons and insects.

Explore history and science on a visit to the Mayborn Museum Complex. Explore science exhibits such as Water and Bubbles; Simple Machines; and more. Travel back to the 1800s to learn about Native Americans, early Texas pioneers & the riverfront community.

At the Mayborn Science Theater, explore astronomy, science and social-studies related disciplines to discover the wonders of the universe.

During guided tours at McDonald Observatory, visitors can see live, safe views of the Sun from the multimedia theater; filtered through special telescopes with HD cameras.

The McKenna Children’s Museum is an environment designed to stimulate a child’s natural desire to learn and to give them their very own world to explore and enhance their creativity.

The Meadows Museum collection of Spanish artwork encompasses works by Spanish artists from the Renaissance and Baroque period to modern times. Paintings by Velázquez, Goya, Picasso are among the museum’s holdings. 

Mexic-Arte Museum is a fine arts museum whose exhibits focus on traditional and contemporary Mexican, Latino, and Latino art and culture.

Mitchell Lake Audubon Center consists of hands-on activities relating to ecology, scientific observation, resource management, and citizenship.

The Moody Planetarium offers laser light shows and planetarium shows. Laser shows are entertaining that include a series of songs set to lasers. Planetarium shows cover space and space education.
