The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center, on 162-acre nature preserve, serves to enhance the understanding for the need to preserve the natural resources of coastal ecosystems.

Penn Farm Agricultural History Center pays tribute to the disappearing Texas family farm. It offers a glimpse into rural life, when farm machinery took the place of the horse and mule almost a century ago.

The Pioneer Museum grounds is a combination museum and historical site on 3.5 acres that preserves and tells the story of the German migration in the 1840’s. to the Texas hill Country.

Pirate’s Landing Fishing Pie is the longest pier in Texas. It boasts immaculate grounds and top-notch facilities. Equipped with a complete tackle and bait shop that offers all you fishing needs.

The Museum chronicles the history of the city and neighboring South Padre Island. It’s exhibits spans the area’s original inhabitants, the Coahuilitican Indians, and the modern-day shrimp and sports fishing industry.

The Point Isabel Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse that was built in 1852 to guide ships through the Brazos Santiago Pass to Port Isabel. Visit the Lighthouse, the Park and the Keeper’s Cottage Visitor’s Center.

The Sam Houston Memorial Museum is a 15 acre complex located on the site of the homestead of General Sam Houston and is dedication to preserving the memory of Sam Houston (1793-1863) and his times.

San Angelo Nature Center is an educational center featuring native and exotic animals, including alligators, bobcats, prairie dogs, tortoises and 85 different species of reptiles.
