Long Pond Ironworks Museum

The Long Pond Ironworks Museum is a former country store in the area that were known to house 19th-century ironwork enterprises. It is part of the 175-acre historic district.

Longo Planetarium

Longo Planetarium provides programs for every grade level, and follow the New Jersey science standards. All programs begin with a live tour of the night sky given by astronomer, Christopher Fenwick. The featured presentation will follow.

Lorrimer Sanctuary

The Lorrimer Sanctuary‘s main house has an exhibit and lecture room, a winter bird feeding station, interpretive displays, and hands-on exhibits. The property has fourteen acres of land, with a self guiding trail winding through.

Marine Mammal Stranding Center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center focus is the rescue and rehabilitation of marine mammals in NJ. Their exhibits include life-sized replicas of marine mammals, pollution displays, & “Please Touch” display.

Melick's Town Farm Cider Mill

At Melick’s Town Farm Cider Mill, students will visit the cider press for a demonstration, walk through the orchard to learn about various apple varieties, pick apples and select a small pumpkin and enjoy a  hay ride through the orchard.
