Salem Sound Coastwatch offers many youth programs that offer an experience of the local watershed and coastal waters that increases their scientific knowledge. The Salem Sound watershed is an ecosystem worth learning about and preserving.

The South Shore Natural Science Center, on 30 acres, educates the public on the natural and cultural environments of the South Shore. It is also the home to an interactive museum featuring live animals, a Children’s Garden, and 6 interpretive trails.

Southwick’s Zoo is a 300-acre, privately owned zoological park with over 850 animals and more.

Located in the South End of Boston, the SpeakEasy Stage Company has a mission to produce intimate, entertaining plays and musicals that compel thoughtful conversation.

At the Springfield Science Museum, visitors are wowed by planetarium shows, exhibits of space exploration, ancient fossils and even a live animal center. The museum is also home to the oldest operating planetarium in the United States.
