Explore 16,000 sq. ft. of exhibits that explore the unique world between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean and discover how the lives of the people are shaped by the water and land, and how the people, in turn, reshape this environment.

Promoting informal learning about science, technology and local history, Discovery Station is an interactive environment that focuses on the animal kingdom, earth sciences, and technology.

Discovery Village is where science and tradition meet the bay. Nestled on a beautiful peninsula surrounded by water and nature, at Discovery Village visitors can learn the heritage and ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay.

ECO City Farms is a urban teaching farm that cultivates vegetables, herbs, fruit and micro-greens. They promote and actively create food security and equity, healthy eating and active living, along with a new generation of urban farmers.

The Edgar Allan Poe House is a National Historic Landmark; walk Poe’s floors and wander within the original walls. Private, virtual tours are available to students and other groups.

Evergreen Museum & Library is a collection of fine and decorative arts, rare books and a vibrant, inspirational venue for contemporary artists.

Visit the F. Brook Whiting House & Museum, a charming 20th-century bungalow, built for a prominent Cumberland family. Brooke Whiting amassed a collection of art from world traveling, prestigious antique dealers, and through inheritance.

Farmer Stan’s Agricultural Farm Tours in Baltimore are farm education programs that teach Maryland’s school age students about basic agriculture.

For 100 of yrs the forces of nature have reshaped the Chesapeake Bay shoreline of Flag Ponds Nature Park, creating a variety of natural environments. Visitors can explore its nature and wildlife and enjoy their recreational activities.

The Frostburg State University Planetarium offers shows for school and other groups upon request. Public Shows are free and all ages are welcome to attend.

A field trip to Furnace Town Living Heritage Village takes you back in time to see what life was like in the 1840, giving groups a glimpse into the professions of the nineteenth century.
