Krannert Art Museum’s rich permanent collection contains more than 10,000 works of art dating from the fourth millennium BC to the present, representing a broad range of cultures and varied modes of artistic expression.

Created in 1958, the Lake County Forest Preserves & Discovery Museum offer groups a variety of educational programs that focus on environmental studies and history.

The Farmyard features a petting area with sheep and goats. Enjoy a variety of attractions like mini-golf, a mini-train ride, cow bounce house and an Old World carousel.

Lincoln Marsh Natural Area is an invaluable resource for the appreciation of and involvement in the natural world. It offers one hundred and fifty acres of prairies, woodlands, and savannas surrounded by open water marsh areas.

Founded in 1936 and designed by Danish landscape architect Jens Jensen, the idea of the Lincoln Memorial Garden & Nature Garden was thought up by Illinois native Harriet Knudson.
