The Museum of Radio & Technology in Huntington is one of the largest antique radio museums in the United States. See vintage radios, computers, hi-fi, and more. 

The Museums of Oglebay Institute celebrate culture and history. Explore the past through artifacts, photos and heritage programs. The 1846 Mansion Museum is the former home of Cleveland industrialist Earl W. Oglebay.

The New River Birding & Nature Center sits on a gem of a spot that drips with migrating birds and overflows with plant and wildlife. The Center is an outdoor classroom featuring a Wetlands Boardwalk and self-interpretive Woodland Trails.

Start your visit at one of the New River Gorge Visitor Centers visitor centers: Canyon Rim, Sandstone, Grandview, or Thurmond. Find maps, information, interpretive displays, and a bookstore.

Built in 1820, the North House Museum explores the lives of Greenbrier Valley residents. The museum’s exhibits feature items from across the Greenbrier Valley, including the training saddle of General Robert E. Lee’s horse, an 18th century covered wagon, Civil War artifacts, and more. 

The Oglebay Good Zoo features over 50 species including 20 that are rare or endangered. Explore the Outback Exhibit and Lorikeet Landing. Observe animals including cheetahs, lemurs, red pandas, and river otters.

Okes Family Farms is a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. The farm features a 3 acre corn maze, giant spider web, 150 slides, wagon train, animals to see, and much more.

Old Mcdonald’s Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze features a 5 acre corn maze, farm animals for viewing, giant tube slides, playground, corn castle, corn table, antique tractor display, nature maze, hayrides, corn hole, picnic area, concessions, and field trips.

Organ Cave offers historic natural wonders, fascinating rock formations, and prehistoric fossils. It’s a National Natural Landmark, a National Landmark of Historic Places, and is on the West Virginia Civil War Trails.

The family owned Orr’s Farm Market offers blueberry field trips, pumpkin field trips, and bonfire hayride tours. Orr’s Farm Market supports healthy eating in our schools and communities.

The Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Museum showcases the home in which the Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning author was born in 1892. The museum celebrates the influence that the home and the West Virginia lifestyle had on Pearl and how it shaped some of her major work throughout her life.

Pigs Animal Sanctuary is a refuge for abused, abandoned, neglected or unwanted animals. Over 500 special animals reside at the sanctuary including potbelly and farm pigs, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, goats, a llama and cow.
