Founded in 1888, the Dallas Zoo is home to over 2,000 animals and various exhibits where visitors can see animals in their natural state and interact with many of them.

The Depot Museum, on 5 acres with twelve historic restored structures,  tell the tale of the earliest residents of Rusk County – an intriguing blend of Native Americans, Pioneers, Farmers and Oil Hungry Wildcatters!

At the Don Harrington Discovery Center explore over 8,000 square feet of hands-on, fun and interactive science learning opportunities.

Downtown Aquarium features touch pools, shark tanks, games, rides, and interactive exhibits. Groups can go behind-the-scenes to see how exhibits are maintained and learn about aquarium careers.

The East Texas Oil Museum retells the story of the oil industry and the culture of the Texas citizens. The museum houses the authentic recreation of oil discovery and production in the early 1930s.

Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education and Recreation Center features a variety of exhibits such as Gator World, honeybees with a demonstration hive, aquaria with fresh and saltwater inhabitants and birds.

The Edison Museum is dedicated to Thomas Alva Edison and his inventions and innovations. The museum interprets Edison through interactive exhibits while using more than 60 historic objects.

The El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center is the only fully bilingual Holocaust museum. The museum teaches the
history of the Holocaust in order to combat prejudice and intolerance.

The El Paso Museum of Archaeology, located in Wilderness Park, presents 14,000 years of prehistory in the El Paso area, the greater Southwest, and northern Mexico.

El Paso Museum of Art has over 5,000 collections of exhibits on Mexican, European, North American, Pre-Columbian art, and more. Guided tours are available by appointment.

The El Paso Museum of History, with 16,000 ft of exhibition space, promotes the understanding of the rich, multicultural and multinational history of the border region known as, The Pass of the North.

El Paso Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts exposes students to live classical music in a fun, energetic, and interactive environment. Also family friendly concerts.
