The Society for the Performing Arts offers Student Matinees that give students a unique opportunity to have cultural and artistic experience outside of the classroom as well as family friendly performances.

The Center mission is to educate the public about the birds of South Padre Island and its environs: the flora, the fauna and the natural environment of South Padre Island and the Laguna Madre coastal area.

The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center, formerly known as the Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens and Nature Center is a 180-acre botanical garden and nature center with nine exhibits areas, a butterfly garden and hummingbirds.

The Southern Apache Museum preserves the history, traditions, languages, ceremonies, and welfare of the indigenous people of
Houston and its surrounding areas.

Visitors to Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum experience 15 replica buildings filled with objects from the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries that depict life during the first Spindletop oil boom.

The Stages Repertory Theatre offers student matinees with the mission to provide early exposure to live theatre that lays the foundation for a lifetime of enjoying the performing arts. Also family friendly performances.

In the fall and spring, explore farming, entomology, farm animals and more at Sweet Berry Farm. In the fall pick a pumpkin and in the spring pick strawberries.

Emerge students in history with a field trip to the Taylor County History Center. Our site is an open air museum that is perfect for your school field trip. 

The TecH2O Water Resource Learning Center offers a museum-like experience with many interactive exhibits focusing on Conservation, Culture of Water, Desalination, Chihuahuan Desert, Our Groundwater, and more.

The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is located in the Exhibits Building in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, honors the men and women who have shown excellence in rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas.

Texas Energy Museum explores explore the fascinating world of petroleum science & technology from the geological formation of oil to modern refining chemistry.

At the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, visitors see the broad range of life that lives in the rivers and reservoirs of Texas while learning about science at the laboratory, aquarium, and educational center.
