NC State LIVE (formerly NCSU Center Stage) has established a regional and national reputation for presenting a professional performing arts season of the highest artistic excellence. Student Matinees available.

Situated on 55 acres of land along the Neuse River in Kinston the Neuseway Nature Park contains a Nature Center, Planetarium, Health & Science Museum, fishing ponds, picnic tables, and plenty of room to run around and explore.

Groups can enjoy an exciting range of programs at the North Carolina Aquarium’s 4 locations at Roanoke Island in Manteo, at Pine Knoll Shores in Atlantic Beach, at Fort Fisher in Kure Beach or Jennettes Pier in Nags Head.

At the 434-acre North Carolina Arboretum, groups can view botanical exhibits, artwork, and a wide range of flower types. The Arboretum hosts educational programs for youth groups to encourage outdoor exploration and environmental awareness.

The North Carolina Aviation Museum and North Carolina Aviation Hall of Fame displays a collection of static aircraft, uniforms and memorabilia, and aircraft models. See the “Flitfire” flown by Orville Wright!

At Chapel Hill’s North Carolina Botanical Garden, youth groups tour the Piedmont Nature Trails, see native plant gardens, appreciate the coastal plain, and mountain habitat gardens and participate in hands-on educational activities.

Visit the North Carolina Estuarium for an adventure-filled combination of art, history, and nature! The Estuarium has over 200 exhibits for groups to explore on topics such as estuaries, coastal rivers, and stewardship.

The North Carolina Executive Mansion, known as the “people’s house” is a Queen Anne style residence designed by Philadelphia architect Samuel Sloan and his assistant Aldophus Gustavus Bauer. Open for youth group tours by appointment.

The North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport collects, preserves and interpret material culture pertinent to the maritime history of the Lower Cape Fear region.
