Beaver Lake Nature Center offers 9 miles of trails and over 400 annual programs a rich mix of habitats creates the possibility of seeing more than 200 species of birds and over 800 varieties of plants.

Whether through our challenge courses, investigating Long Island ecology at a local beach or aboard a fishing boat, BOCES Outdoor and Environmental Education has programs to meet your curricular needs.

Explore the beauty and historical significance of Boscobel’s Historic House Museum and 68 acres of our grounds, including lush gardens and a woodland trail. 

Visitors engage with contemporary art made by artists of African, Asian, and Latin American ancestry when you visit the Bronx Museum of the Arts.

The Bronx River Alliance offers youth groups a variety of enjoyable educational activities such as canoe trips and recreational walking tours which introduce groups to the river’s wonders.

The Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Museum offers exhibits of the Lab’s accomplishments featuring interactive exhibits, hands-on labs, and demonstrate basic scientific principles using the inquiry method of teaching.

At the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, your group can explore the 52-acre grounds, which contain an array of biomes, such as the desert and tropical pavilions and the outdoor gardens.
