The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum collects, preserves, interprets and exhibits related to the history of the State of Mississippi and its contributions to the Armed Forces of the United States.

Mississippi Children’s Museum’s field trips promote hands-on, inquiry-based learning that helps to foster valuable critical thinking skills focusing on arts, history, health & science.

The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum’s mission is to document, exhibit, and educate the public about the American Civil Rights Movement between 1945 and 1970. Combine trip with Museum of Mississippi History.

Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum has a LEGO(R) model displays, interactive layouts to operate, outdoor garden  & themed railroad displays like Jurassic Park and riding trains.

The Mississippi Governor’s Mansion is the official residence of the Governor of Mississippi. Tours of the Governor’s Mansion are conducted by trained docents who interpret the Mansion to visitors.

Mississippi Museum of Art’s collection includes paintings, sculptures, quilts, textiles and photographs, offers guided tours include writing and sketching exercises.

The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science overlooks 300-acres with nature trails. Inside explore 73,000 sq. ft of exhibits and the 100,000 gallon aquarium.

At the Mississippi Petrified Forest, take a self-guided tour through the Mississippi Petrified Forest on a shady paved trail among the ancient trees and enjoy our “Gem Flume” activity.
