Field Trips

Crescent Farms consists of over 400 acres of pumpkin patches, gourds, hay fields, corn fields, and produce. Educational tours available in spring, summer, and fall are available at the farm.  

Dinosaur Footprints is treasure trove of more than 130 tracks revealed in slabs of sandstone. Visitors can see hundreds of fossils not only from the four distinct two-legged dinosaurs, but also stromatolites, fish, plants and other ancient beings.

At Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary, see life on a working farm, visit farm animals, explore wetland habitats and observe resident owls and hawks.

The EcoTarium features three floors of interactive exhibits, exciting shows in the digital planetarium, daily Science Discovery programs, live animal habitats, and more.

The Eric Carle Museum is the first institution of its kind, with its special focus on picture book art and seeks to foster connections between visual and verbal literacy. It has several running exhibits that focus on specific picture books and their authors.

Located in downtown Boston, steps away from the waterfront, Faneuil Hall Marketplace is alive today as it was in 1742 when our nation’s fathers proclaimed it “The Cradle of Liberty. Over 70 retailers and 40 office tenants occupy the 200,000 sq. ft. of space.

Founded in 1912, Franklin Park Zoo is a 72-acre site nestled in Boston’s historic Franklin Park. Visitors can explore thematic exhibits, engage in educational programming, meet live animals, and much more.

The Freedom Trail offers a unique experience where residents and visitors can become familiar with great stories of a people rising up against a mighty nation to demand civil liberties and freedom.

The Gore Place is a 19th-century mansion & museum, with 50 acres of green space, and a working farm with a historic and rare breed of sheep. There is so much to explore at Gore Place! Join us for indoor or outdoor programs.

As a professional not-for-profit regional theatre, the Greater Boston Stage Company produces 6 to 7 quality shows each year as part of its Mainstage series, working with the highest caliber of professional actors, directors, and designers.

Experience a bit of the barnyard up close and personally with a visit to the Green Hill Park Farm. Enjoy the Farm’s petting zoo, where visitors can walk up to, touch, and feed a variety of farm animals.

Hancock Shaker Village brings the Shaker story to life and preserves it for future generations. A living history museum, visitors see the lifestyle of this group of people come to life.
