The Jewish Museum of Maryland tells the story of the American Jewish experience in the city of Baltimore and Maryland. The Museum combines art, rare objects, historical photographs, oral histories, videos, and family friendly hands-on activities and exhibits.

Situated on the Upper Chesapeake Bay, Marshy Point offers stands of old and young forest, open meadows, freshwater wetlands, and a web of tidal creeks and marshes for visitors to enjoy and explore.

The Maryland Historical Society is the premier institution for state history. The museum features an incredible collection that celebrates Maryland’s rich and diverse history, from 18th- and 19th-century paintings and silver to 20th-century objects of everyday life.

With interactive exhibits, a planetarium and giant screen theater, science encounters and live shows, the Maryland Science Center offers much to see and do.

With more than 200 different species, many of which are endangered, the Maryland Zoo offers groups up close encounters with a wide variety of animals allowing them to experience some of the planet’s many diverse species.

Masonville Cove is 70 acres of water and 54 acres of cleaned-up wetlands, nature trails, and a protected bird sanctuary. The Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center offers environmental programs.

The Mount Washington Arboretum showcases native plants and features a pond with waterfall, interpretive signs, tiles created by children from the Mt. Washington School, two green roofs, a mural, and more.

Olney Theatre Center offers 10:15am performances for a diversity of audiences of our professional productions, including post-show discussions. Port Discovery Children’s Museum offers three floors of interactive, educational exhibits and ever-changing programs for children ages birth through ten years.

The 82,000-square-foot Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture is dedicated to preserving history and retelling the stories of Maryland’s African American community.

The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum highlights the unique history of African-American providing a variety of educational opportunities that educate students on African-American heritage.
