The Historic Stranahan House Museum tells the story of the birth of a community. The House was built in 1901 by Frank Stranahan, credited as Fort Lauderdale’s founding father, and his wife Ivy Cromartie Stranahan, the area’s first school teacher.

HorsePower for Kids & Animal Sanctuary in Tampa provides a farm and petting zoo for people who would benefit from interaction with animals. HorsePower currently serves as a sanctuary for animals of all kinds.

Hunsader Farms offers pick-your-own vegetables and fruits like Black-Eyed peas, eggplant, green beans, okra, strawberries, and more!  They provide experiences where visitors learn about farm life, vegetables and animals.
