The California State Mining and Mineral Museum is a museum in the state park system of California, and interprets the state’s mineral resources and mining heritage.

The California State Railroad Museum features 21 restored locomotives and railroad cars. Exhibits show how the influence of railroads changed American society, influencing travel, commerce and daily life.  Railroad excursions available.

The Cartoon Art Museum has something for everyone—from comic strips, comic books and anime to political cartoons, graphic novels and underground comix. Tours and workshops available

The Cayton Children’s Museum offers 21,000 square feet of discovery-based exhibits and immersive play connecting to arts, to the world. The Museum is a place where children experience the transformational and lifelong benefits of abundant, creative and purposeful play.

Chabot Space and Science Center is a center for science learning featuring interactive exhibits, planetariums, a large screen theater, hands-on activities and three powerful telescopes.

The Charles F. Hagar Planetarium at San Francisco State University shows are live and interactive. We show the night sky as it is seen from Earth and tell the audience about the things they can see there. Shows adjust to the needs and interests of each group.

The Charles Paddock Zoo is home to hundreds of animal species from around the world. Many of the zoo residents are part of globally managed programs to preserve animals and their habitats.

The Children’s Creativity Museum offers hands-on, multimedia arts and technology experiences designed to build creative confidence in children 2-12 years.

Over 150 hands-on exhibits and programs in the sciences, humanities, arts, nature, and health that spark curiosity, creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence.

Chinese Historical Society of America is a mall museum exploring the Chinese immigrant experience in the U.S. through photos & artifacts. Educational programs include in-depth exploration, while utilizing Chinatown as an educational learning space.

The Colton Area Museum, formerly known as the Colton Carnegie Library, which once served as a library, is now a museum that showcases the rich history and culture of the Colton area.

The Computer History Museum is a museum of computer history. The museum presents stories and artifacts of Silicon Valley and the information age, and explores the computing revolution and its impact on society.
