Bennington Museum
The Bennington Museum offers rich and impressive collections that help to tell the story of Vermont whether it be through furniture, glass, pottery, or fine art. The educational programs at the Bennington Museum support the Common Core and the Vermont State Learning Standards and engage students in active, hands-on learning about art, history, and the natural world. Programs include Amazing Toys From Long Ago (K-2), The Art of Grandma Moses (K-6), Made in Vermont (3-12), and many more. The museum also offers a variety of programs for adults including lectures, workshops, concerts, and films.

Bennington Museum
Bennington Museum’s school programs complement and support classroom instruction and the Common Core and Vermont Framework standards through close examination of primary sources – objects and art – and by creating engaging hands-on experiences. Our programs support teachers’ goals by sparking curiosity, promoting critical and creative thinking, and encouraging communication among peers. Programs can take place at the museum, through outreach, or with rentable materials for use at schools, libraries, summer camps, and for homeschool groups.
