Aquarium exhibits highlights include the Coastal Bay Aquarium, which displays the bays and estuary of the Texas coast; the Coral Reef Aquarium, corals, invertebrates, and fish; the Jetty Aquarium, which has barnacles, periwinkle and other shelled animals; the Artificial Reef Aquarium, with its multi-colored sponges, corals and bryozoans and oysters; the Tropical Fish Aquarium, an exhibit of fish from tropical waters; and the Offshore Gulf of Mexico Aquarium, the centerpiece of the educational exhibits that allows visitors to view large Gulf of Mexico marine animals.
