Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center

Established by the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI) in 1978, the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center provides groups with opportunities to reconnect with nature. The center features a desert botanical garden, a 1,400-square-foot greenhouse, 3 miles of trails, and exhibits on nature. In the botanical garden, groups will find wild roses, birds, oak trees, and much more. The exhibits at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center aim to teach groups about topics like desert culture, wildlife, and geology through artifacts and large-screen presentations.
