Brazo Valley Museum of Natural History
Brazo Valley Museum of Natural History mission is to preserve and protect natural and cultural history, to stimulate its understanding, and to encourage responsible stewardship of all natural and cultural resources of the Brazo Valley. Exhibits cover subjects such as Archaeology, Botany, Conchology, Culture History, Geology, Mammalogy, Ornithology. Field Trips include a tour of the Exhibits and Discovery Room Program with live animals. Depending upon group size, other stations and programs are available. Program length is determined by the age and number of participants. For groups of 40 or larger, Museum visitors will be divided into subgroups of 20-30 for an optimal learning experience. When visiting the Museum, each group will be rotated through a series of programs, keeping all students occupied.
