The National Wildlife Federation offers a variety of youth programs that are perfect for any school, scout, homeschool and camp service learning projects. From pre-k through high school, these programs provide educators with engaging resources to develop nature-based experiences and knowledge.
Some programs include: Having a beach cleanup; Installing composting systems in student’s neighborhoods; Trees for Wildlife (planting trees); Schoolyard Habitats where students create and restore wildlife habitat on their school grounds; Green Hour program is designed to encourage schools, childcare centers, park agencies, camps and others to adopt a goal of one hour each day for children to play and learn outdoors in nature.
