Tom Ridge Environmental Center at Presque Isle

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is a modern, 75 foot structure filled with exhibits dedicated to teaching groups about the unique 32,000 acres of Presque Isle and the many different forms of life that inhabit the peninsula. Groups can see interactive displays, and artifacts about animals, ecosystems, birds, nature, and fishing. Field trips include time for exploration at the Center and an outdoor lesson where groups can learn about the ecosystem of the peninsula. Some programs include a large-format movie screening. The Center also offers a range of opportunities for scouts, including nature programs, kayaking, hiking, camping, and service projects.
