Our 650-foot Magic Carpet carries riders to the top of the hill so there’s more time for riding and less time spent climbing. Snow tubing at Campgaw gets kids outdoors, active, laughing, and enjoying winter together. Along the way, they build confidence, share an exciting experience with friends and classmates, and discover just how much fun winter can be. No skiing experience. No special equipment. Campgaw Mountain Ski Area began in the 1968-69 season and is located on 18 contiguous acres of land within the 1,370-acre Campgaw Mountain Reservation in Bergen County, NJ. The Ski Area offers an alpine escape right in your backyard. We are the closest outdoor ski area to the New York metro area with 100% snowmaking capabilities, only 18 miles north of the George Washington Bridge.

We provide a variety of skiing and snowboarding terrain for all abilities with short lift lines, uncrowded trails, a thrilling snow tubing park, hot food and beverages, warm lodge with fireplace, and a friendly staff.
