Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center

Established by the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI) in 1978, the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center provides groups with opportunities to reconnect with nature. The center features a desert botanical garden, a 1,400-square-foot greenhouse, 3 miles of trails, and exhibits on nature.

McDonald Observatory

During guided tours at McDonald Observatory, visitors can see live, safe views of the Sun from the multimedia theater; filtered through special telescopes with HD cameras.
