At the Battle of Rivers Bridge State Historic Site was one of the last major resistances by the Confederate army as the Civil War came to a close. Visitors to the site can still see the earthen fortifications used during the two-day battle.

The Savannah National Wildlife Refuge consists of 31,551 acres of rich habitats that support a diverse array of migratory and resident wildlife. The Refuge offers a variety of opportunities to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.

The South Carolina Botanical Garden, located on the campus of Clemson University, is a diverse 295-acre garden of natural and manicured landscapes within the South Carolina Piedmont ecosystem.

South Carolina Children’s Theatre serves children and families in the community through theatre, educational classes and workshops, and accessible outreach initiatives.

Take a trip up Arsenal Hill where you’ll find the South Carolina’s Governor’s Mansion Complex. Surrounded by palm trees, the mansion is in the Greek Revival-style and was built in the 19th century.

The South Carolina Philharmonic entertains, educates, enriches and excites diverse audiences through live symphonic music. The South Carolina Philharmonic has become one of the leading orchestras in the Southeast.

The South Carolina State House is the seat of state government in South Carolina. The State House is home to the Governor’s office, as well as the House and Senate chambers.

The South Carolina State Museum has four floors of art, history and science permanent and changing exhibits, a digital dome planetarium, 4D interactive theater and an observatory. 

Split Creek Farm is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains’ scenic foothills of South Carolina. The Grade A Dairy is in a barn designed and built by the owners to include the milking and cheese operations and a kid nursery.

The T.C. Hooper Planetarium at Roper Mountain Science Center features a new 360° full immersion dome, 4K projection, state-of-the-art lighting, dynamic 5.1 surround sound, interactive lobby exhibits, and more.

The Upcountry History Museum at Furman University connects people, history, and culture. The rich heritage and culture of the “Upcountry” identity distinguish the region from South Carolina’s “Low Country.”

Waccatee Zoo of Myrtle Beach is a very special and unique place for animal lovers of all ages. The facility gives visitors an opportunity to see exotic and domestic animals in a very personal way.
