The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence. Once placed in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House, the bell today is located in the Liberty Bell Center in Independence National Historical Park.

Built in 1963, the Lincoln Train Museum features museum collections, history presentations, and a simulated train ride that depicts the journey of President Lincoln’s funeral car from Washington D.C. to Springfield, Illinois.

The Majestic Theater hosts a wide range of events including movies, concerts, ballets, plays, one-man shows, operas, workshops, stand-up comedy tours, and more.

The Mattress Factory is a museum featuring room-sized galleries of contemporary “art you can get into.” Housed in a former Stearns & Foster mattress warehouse, the museum has a variety of permanent and changing exhibits.

At Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, groups will see nearly 30,000 artifacts including several thousand European and American prints and decorative ceramic tiles from Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Since 1986, Milky Way Farm has been offering educational tours that explores farm animals, agricultural products, farm life, plant-growing cycles, nutrition, and milking technology in close learning experiences.

The Munnell Run Farm is a sprawling where groups will learn about agriculture and the ecological systems in the surrounding area with hands-on curricula that allows students to sow seeds and observe how grain travels from crop to pizza crust!

Visit the Museum of Indian Culture for an experience filled with Native American heritage and art. Exhibits at the Museum of Indian Culture focus on the history and lifestyle of the Delaware/Lenape people and other American Indian tribes.

The National Aviary is America’s only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds. The aviary is home to over 600 birds of more than 200 different species, many rare or endangered in the wild.

Experience hands-on history fun for all ages at the National Canal Museum. Rides on the 48-ton, mule-drawn canal boat, Josiah White II, allow school, scout, homeschool, and camp groups to explore the history of the Lehigh Canal.

The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania portrays the entire story of the American Civil War. It presents the history of the war from military and civilian perspectives without bias to either Union or Confederate causes.
