The Wilderness Center

The Wilderness Center educates people of all ages to inspire a love of nature, and conserves natural lands for the health and benefit of the community. It includes an interpretive building, astronomy education building, an observation tower, pier and picnic shelters.

Toledo Botanical Garden

Toledo Botanical Garden encompasses 60 acres with an Inclusive Garden that is accessible, sensory experience of sights, sounds, tastes and textures. Visitors can use the link on a cell phone to use the Plant Collection Map to find the exact location of a species or variety of plant throughout the Garden.

Toledo Firefighters Museum

This working fire station from the 1920s houses a vast collection of vintage equipment, uniforms and antique fire toys. The Museum offers kid-friendly guided tours to learn about the history of fire fighting in Toledo and fire safety.

Toledo History Museum

The Toledo History Museum preserves the physical artifacts of Toledo’s history which is exhibited to highlight and present the large and rich tapestry of Toledo’s story. Industrial history plays a large part of Toledo’s story, but THM also showcases social, cultural, and ethnic parts of the city’s past.
