Museum of Art is passionate about culturally enriching the lives of all who walk through its doors. Educational outreach programs to members of the community to whom the museum is inaccessible.

The Gregg Museum of Art & Design is a collecting museum at North Carolina State University, that features textiles, ceramics, folk art, architectural drawings, furniture, and more.

Located in the only Victorian Queen Anne Train station in North Carolina, Hamlet Depot & Museums is a historic landmark with hands-on exhibits, visual displays, and interactive consoles. 

Hands On! Children’s Museum provides children and their families with interactive exhibits and STEM learning experiences that captivate the imagination and ignite wonder in a fun and safe environment.

The Harris Energy & Environmental Center features interactive exhibits on electricity, energy efficiency and the benefits of nuclear power.

The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture at Levine Center for the Arts is a community epicenter for music, dance, theater, visual art, film, arts education programs, literature and community outreach.

52-seat Ellis Planetarium at Neuseway Nature Park is a large, round room with a 24-foot giant dome where the sun, moon, stars, and planets are projected. Take up close trips to planets, nebula, and other celestial phenomena.

Visit the Historic Henderson County Courthouse, now known as the Henderson County Heritage Museum. Groups will find artifacts, archives, and view exhibits that tell the story of Henderson County’s past.

Located in the Hickory Regional Airport, Hickory Aviation Museum is an aerospace museum that maintains the facts and artifacts of the Golden Age of Aviation.

At the Hickory Museum of Art groups can experience an art-filled, educational activities for your where the birth of a creative thought becomes a tangible object.

At the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum, groups will learn what life was like in the 1700s. Costumed interpreters at the museum provide insight into skills the settlers possessed such as hearthside cooking, weaving, making candles, spinning, and blacksmithing.

Field trips to Historic Bath give students, scouts, homeschoolers, and campers the opportunity to see what life was like in a port town during the 1700s and 1800s.
