The Griffis Sculpture Park features over 250 large scale sculptures dispersed through miles of hiking trails. Each sculpture was placed with the natural setting in mind, creating a truly unique experience between art and nature.

Learn about Western New York’s unique aviation and aerospace heritage at Niagara Aerospace Museum at the Niagara Falls International Airport. In addition to displaying artifacts, the Museum will continue to carry out extensive educational programming.

Niagara Gorge Discovery Center focuses on the natural and local history of Niagara Falls and Gorge. Interactive displays, a virtual elevator trip and a 180° multi-screen theater presentation of the mighty Niagara River carved the gorge and the falls over the course of more than 12,000 years.

From a Seat-Gripping Virtual Reality Ride to Hands-On Experiments to the Power of Nature, Discover the Energy and Geology of New York at the Niagara Power Vista.

Immerse yourself in African-American culture at the African American Cultural Center’s Paul Robeson Theatre. Groups can enjoy a wide range of dance performances and plays throughout the season.

Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve is a unique 292-acre complex of forests, ponds, and wetlands surrounded by suburban development. Reinstein Woods offers a variety of opportunities to explore and learn about nature.

At the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum, guests learn about the prehistory, history, and contemporary culture of the Seneca Iroquois. Visitors learn the rich heritage through ceremonies, practices, and cultural events.

The Connect-Kids-to-Parks Field Trip Grant Program (Connect Kids) is designed to connect students in New York State with nature and history. Each grant provides reimbursement of up to $40 per student (and $80 for Special Education students) for field trips to state and federal parks, forests, historic sites, fish hatcheries and outdoor recreation areas.

ELIGIBILITY: School districts, charter schools, municipalities, and select not-for-profits in New York State.
