Visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum dedicated to the 16th president of the United States. Across the street from the museum is the library, which contains books, papers, and artifacts relating to Lincoln’s life and the Civil War era.

Adler Planetarium offers a wide range of programming, from Mission Moon, where you can learn about how the US became the first nation to put a man on the moon, to The Universe: A Trip Through Space and Time.

The Museum is dedicated to identifying, preserving and portraying the outstanding achievements of African American Citizens. Permanent exhibits here include African art collections and slave artifacts. 

The American Farm Heritage Museum exhibits portray everyday life in Illinois as it was over 100 years ago. View the American Heritage Railroad working train, a reconstruction of Hills Fort, the Lil’ Red Barn, and the Armed Forces Museum.

The Anderson Japanese Gardens is an authentic Japanese Garden maintained by the highest standards with the intent to touch the souls of guests.

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the world’s great art museums, with a collection that spans centuries and the globe. View some of  the museum’s collection virtually. 

Blackberry Farm is a living history museum where pioneer life is re-created through educational demonstrations and hands-on fun.

The Bronzeville Children’s Museum is the first and only African American children’s museum in the country. The museum is named after Bronzeville, where African Americans settled in Chicago after coming from the south.

Step through a window through time at the Burpee Museum of Natural History! Popular tours include Fossils and Dinosaurs, Dynamite!, and the First People.
