The historic Fox Theatre is one of Atlanta’s premiere venues for live entertainment. The Fox’s 4,665 seat theatre hosts more than 150 performances a year ranging from Broadway to rock to comedy to movies.

Located on the campus of Reinhardt University, this is Georgia’s Official Frontier and Southeastern Indian Interpretive Center. It is also a certified National Park Service Trail of Tears interpretive site.

University of North Georgia’s George E. Coleman, Sr. Planetarium allows groups to learn about and immerse themselves in outer space. The Digistar projector can show groups the night sky as seen from earth and take them into the cosmos.

The Georgia Capitol offers interpretive tours to visitors providing an opportunity to view first-hand the most important government building in the state.

The Georgia Capitol Museum teaches the history of the Georgia Capitol building and the events that have taken place within its walls. The Museum collects, maintains, and exhibits significant artifacts, including historic flags and works of art.

Georgia Governor’s Mansion is a three-floor, 30-room, Greek Revival style home built in 1967, stands on approximately 18 acres in northeast Atlanta.

The Georgia Museum of Agriculture & Historic Village is a 19th-century living museum. Costumed interpreters explain and demonstrate the life-style and activities of this time in Georgia’s history.

The Georgia Museum of Art is official art museum of the state of Georgia. The permanent collection consists of American paintings, primarily 19th- and 20th-century; Works on paper; Italian Renaissance paintings; and Asian art.

The Georgia Museum of Natural History consists of 14 collections that include: Archaeology, Arthropods, Botany, Herpetology, Ichthyology, Invertebrates, Mammalogy, Ornithology, and Zooarchaeology.

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center explores the adaptations, behavior, and threats for endangered sea turtles that inhabit Georgia’s coast and the world of coastal ecosystems.

At the Georgia Southern Museum, visitors learn about worlds of the distant past and present through exhibits & programs about the plain’s changing environments, animals, and cultures that have made the region home.

The Performing Arts Center presents diverse, quality cultural experiences through the performing arts. Offers a School Matinee Series and family friendly performances.
