The de Young Museum is an art museum that showcases the museum’s priceless collections of American art from the 17th through the 20th centuries, Textile arts, and art of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. Part of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

The Exploratorium is a museum of science, technology, and arts. All exhibits and programs are hands-on. Visitors at the Exploratorium, don’t look at exhibits—you play with them.

The International Art Museum of America (IAMA) is dedicated to displaying artworks made by famous artists from diverse backgrounds and different time periods.

The Legion of Honor Museum displays a collection of art spanning more than 6,000 years of ancient and European art and houses the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, the largest collection in the world. Part of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

The Mexican Museum is to voice the complexity and richness of Latino art and culture throughout the Americas. The art reflects the Mexican, Mexican-American, and Latin American experiences. The Museum offers in-person, traveling and virtual programs.

The Museo Italo Americano is devoted exclusively to Italian and Italian-American art and culture. The Museum displays works of Italian and Italian-American artists, and to promote educational programs for the appreciation of Italian art and culture.

The Museum Of 3D Illusions offers  a perfect for a field trip and educational visit! Here visitors can learn about the science of perception, the art of perspective with over 40+ 3D illusions to explore.

The Museum of Craft and Design is devoted to craft and design. The Museum showcases designers, makers and artists through an exciting and distinctive series of craft and design-focused exhibitions and hands-on programs. 

The Museum of Performance + Design offers a prominent living record of the history of the performing arts in the Bay Area and beyond which includes 3.5M-item collection.

The Museum of the African Diaspora documents the history, art, and culture of the African diaspora. It spans the migration of Africans across history, from the diaspora at the origin of human existence through the contemporary African Diaspora around the world.

The Randall Museum is a museum of science, nature and the arts as well as a San Francisco Recreation and Park Department community learning center.  Visitors explore STEM, nature, and the arts through engaging exhibits, activities, and classes.
