The International Literacy Association Regie Routman Teacher Recognition Grant honors an outstanding classroom teacher dedicated to improving and enriching reading and writing across the curriculum.
Applicants submit a proposal about how the applicant would support, improve, enhance, and accelerate teaching and learning for students. At least 60 percent of the school’s students must qualify for free or reduced lunch. The grant cannot not be used to purchase commercial programs or technology hardware.
