The "North and South" tour includes a short film, a visit to the Pickett's Charge cyclorama painting, and tours of the battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam. "Recruits Wanted" lets students experience how men trained before the battle, tour the historic streets of Gettysburg, and hear a speech from President Lincoln. Other itineraries can include visits to the Gettysburg Heritage Center and Gettysburg Diorama; a living history presentation with a Union soldier, and others; and Haunted Gettysburg ghost and haunted house tours!

Scout groups can work towards American Heritage and Hiking badges on a multi-day adventure. They can set up camp, listen to haunted Gettysburg tales around the campfire, hike the Historic Gettysburg Trail and explore Gettysburg National Military Park, and become a soldier in Seminary Ridge Museum's interactive "Become a Soldier" program.

Groups can enjoy an educational tour of Gettysburg via the famous Double Decker Bus, which provides a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield and narration. A popular tour for students is "North and South," which visits the battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, and the Battle of Gettysburg cyclorama painting.
